An eventful night at St. James’ Park saw two pitch invaders led from the pitch in separate incidents on Monday night according to fan website nufc.com, halting the Newcastle v Arsenal Under 21s/reserves match.

The visitors had taken a first half lead but midfielder Dan Barlaser equalised in the second period, shortly before the first of the two ‘graced’ the United turf.

The Gateshead born young Newcastle player is an Under 17 Turkish international and earlier today he had signed his first professional contract at the club.

Sadly it wasn’t to prove a happy ending as Arsenal scored the winner late on.

After signing his pro contract, Dan Barlaser had this to say to the official club website;

“I am really proud and happy to sign for my local club, who I have supported all my life.

“Being involved in the first team a couple of times has been really good as well, and I want to thank all my family and friends for getting me where I am.”
