Newcastle United have been linked with a summer move for Darnell Furlong.
The 19 year old QPR defender only made his senior debut last Saturday when he played in the defeat against Hull in the Premier League.
Furlong is out of contract in the summer but if he did move then his new club would have to oay compensation for his youth development at Loftus Road.
United aren’t the only club said to be watching the player, with West Brom and Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace also linked.
Said to be one of Rangers’ most promising young players, the situation surrounding the defender is further complicated by the fact that his dad Paul (ex-striker) is QPR’s Under 18 coach.
