After the final whistle at the Etihad on Saturday, we asked you for your Man City v Newcastle player ratings.

Supporters rated all fourteen players used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.

Below we have produced the results of  the fan ratings showing by 12 noon on Monday.

As you can see Krul, Sissoko and Janmaat were the three to get the highest ratings, though they were also miserably low.

Yet again, the trio of Anita, Williamson and Gouffran appear to be seen as the very weakest links by most fans.

the most damning is collo on only 2.8 – this is our leader on the pitch and he must shoulder responsibility
he does not appear to be the player that he was and must now concentrate soley on his defensive duties, Carver must chose a new leader without delay, say Colback or Raylor and rebuild on field discipline from there

Newcastle would be better off in the Championship league they were really good when last there and it was good knowing we were the Man City of that league and winning every week but we are not Premier league standard and just making up the numbers unfortunately.

toonman Don’t think this squad would win many in the Championship, as, if relegated Fatso would sell the jewels (Krul, Janmaat, Tiote, Sissoko, Colback, Perez, Cabella, De Jong, Aarons and Cisse) and we’d be left with the dregs and youngsters and wouldn’t bounce back as last time. The silver lining is relegation would cost Fatty the TV money and he may sell up.

Given the level of performance here it may be prudent to allow fans to cast a big zero in future. Anita did not even deserve the minimum one available.
