Warning handed down to Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko has been warned that he is no use sitting in the stands.

Certainly now Newcastle’s most influential player in the opposition half, Alan Pardew has reminded the French international of his responsibility both to himself and the team.

The Newcastle manager pointing to Sissoko’s ridiculous dismissal at West Ham as something not to be repeated.

Stupidly kicking the ball away before a daft challenge on Andy Carroll only 30 seconds later.

“When you take somebody out of the team who is in great form it is going to make an impact.

“It’s great to have him back and without the threat of suspension hanging over him.”

Learning his lesson;

“I hope he has learnt his lesson because he’s missed two games and one of them he definitely shouldn’t have missed.

“So he needs to grasp that and make sure he stays in the team for the rest of the season.”

With Jack Colback, Steven Taylor and Daryl Janmaat all missing matches in December through suspension as well, United have enough problems with injuries without this extra hindrance to the team.
