One-off chance to see Once More For Bobby

Your chance to see ‘Once More For Bobby’, an inspirational documentary that pays homage to one of football’s greatest managers, Sir Bobby Robson.

The film screens this week on Thursday 18 December at 20:45 at the magnificent Tyneside Cinema.

Battling 3,500 miles of roads, adverse weather conditions and physical wear and tear, former footballers Phil Gray and ex-Newcastle United’s Robbie Elliott raised money for charity by cycling from Portugal to Newcastle, visiting every club that Sir Bobby Robson Managed in his illustrious career.

This gripping documentary follows the pair on their amazing feat, covering a distance greater than the Tour De France.

The film’s director Michael Pentney will also be attending this screening to answer questions about the film and the great man himself Sir Bobby Robson.
