Newcastle United Alan Pardew compensation agreed with Crystal Palace – Reports
Various national media are claiming that Mike Ashley/Newcastle United have agreed compensation with Crystal Palace to release Alan Pardew from his contract.
The figure is put at around £2m, although press in the north east have made counter claims that Mike Ashley hasn’t actually given his final answer to the deal.
However, Alan Pardew is also said to have yet to agree terms with the Selhurst Park outfit but this would appear to be a formality if the two clubs are already talking about the level of compensation, or indeed if that has already been agreed.
Typical of Newcastle United and the chaotic running of Newcastle United under Ashley/Pardew that this has all come to light in the wake of actually winning a match after losing the previous four.
Alan Pardew fuelling rumours when he failed to do the press duties after the final whistle against Everton.
Many fans are claiming that releasing Alan Pardew from his much talked about 8 year contract, could be another plus to potential buyers of the club, if indeed Mike Ashley is looking to sell.
