Lee Clark Says Nile Ranger is AWOL and hasn’t been seen for 2 weeks

Blackpool manager and former Newcastle star Lee Clark, has admitted today that Nile Ranger has been missing for two weeks and he doesn’t know where he is.

Clark says that Ranger has failed to turn up for both training and matches, now he has asked anybody to report in if they see the former Newcastle striker.

This latest escapade makes it almost look quote good that Nile Ranger actually bothered turning for training when at Newcastle United, though he was invariably late.

Lee Clark speaking to the Blackpool Gazette;

“If anyone can let us know where he (Nile Ranger) is then send me a letter and we will go from there.

“I don’t know where he is and I haven’t seen him for more than two weeks. He’s been asked to report into training and has been asked to play in games and he hasn’t been seen.”

Appears to be in London..;

“For whatever reason Nile appears to be back in London but we don’t know why.

“We’ve told him of the training schedule but he’s decided that’s not in his plans.

“When he’s had a little bit of a disappointment of not being in the squad it’s made him go AWOL. I don’t really know where he is.”

Only a month ago Nile Ranger was all repentant and determined to give it his best shot…;

“They (Newcastle) gave me a chance, a big chance, but I messed it up to be honest.”

Young and stupid;

“But everyone makes mistakes in life, I was young and getting a lot of money coming in, doing stupid things.

“Now it is time to focus, I’m not getting any younger, I’m twenty three.”
