Jose Mourinho ‘I don’t need to go to Newcastle to remember and miss Mr Robson’
Jose Mourinho was in top form today, that is unless you are a journalist at the receiving end of his cutting remarks.
At his pre-match press conference, the Chelsea manager was getting increasingly irritated by the banal nature of the questions put to him, often giving only one or two word answers.
“If I don’t like the question…if I feel that the questions are not appropriate, I will not participate so much in your dialogue.
“So I try to answer in a quick way to kill your mood.”
Things later took an even worse turn (for the journalists) as the Chelsea manager was asked (yet again) to talk about his relationship with Sir Bobby Robson;
“I have told that two hundred times.
“I do not need to go to Newcastle and see his picture in the tunnel to remember and miss such a friend.
“So I do not need to go to Newcastle to think about Mr.Robson.”
Personally I like his style and it is a refreshing change from the tedious stuff Alan Pardew comes out with time after time.
What he says in those couple of lines convinces me just how much he thinks of ‘Mr.Robson’, rather than trotting out the same few lines as most others would do.
