Sam Allardyce running scared of Newcastle as West Ham without key injured players

In advance of Saturday’s match, our old friend Sam Allardyce has been bemoaning his luck, as he looks sure to be missing key players such as Song and Valencia when West Ham face Newcastle.

On top of his injury problems, the Hammers boss also said that he would rather be playing anybody in the Premier League rather than Newcastle, with the exception of Chelsea.

Allardyce seeing United as the form team of the moment;

“We have got Stuart Downing and Chieck Kouyate training today, but the rest (injured players) have got a chance, but a slimmer chance than we expected.

“So I think the only other possibility will be Mark Noble, who came off injured last Saturday, but obviously the rest will not be available I don’t think.

“Plus  of course we’ve lost Winston Reid on a suspension this weekend.

Playing the form team;

“I think that Newcastle are the most difficult team to beat in the Premier League, apart from Chelsea, on the form they have shown at this moment in time.

“So it will be a massively big game for us.”
