Alan Pardew admits that he didn’t think the Newcastle players were capable of the recent performances.

The Newcastle boss saying that it has been a pleasant surprise, his team putting in a full solid ninety minutes.

Pardew suggesting that at times his players have put in a decent seventy minutes but been punished for the other twenty.

The United manager though believes that Newcastle have to be on top of their game on Sunday, as he claims they will be facing the hardest working team in the Premier League;

Alan Pardew – I don’t believe it..;

“I don’t think I felt we could play to such a level that we have, so that has been a nice surprise.

“That we have really put ninety minutes together – because the Premier League is such that you can play well for seventy minutes and still lose.

“You need to have ninety minutes of solid play from the subs and everybody else, including the staff.”

Facing the hardest working team;

“We’ve managed to do that and we have to do that at West Brom.

“I would suggest they are the hardest working team in the Premier League.”

On Sunday, keep an eye out for a special moment in the ninth minute, for further details look HERE.
