Newcastle face run of 7 out of 9 live TV matches

Newcastle United face a run of nine matches where a slightly mad seven of them are live TV matches.

Like moths to the flame, the TV companies clearly think NUFC are good box office as pretty much everybody appears to have an opinion  on our club/circus, even if it isn’t always positive…

The glut of live TV [intlink id=”191″ type=”page”]fixtures[/intlink] before Christmas were chosen at a time when United still hadn’t registered a Premier League win.

Undoubtedly (for me) at least part of the reason for us proving so popular with the TV moguls was the possibility of this being another season of chaos and disaster at St.James’ Park.

However, the recent run of four league wins in a row has given us all hope and yet yesterday Sky (Southampton) and BT (Hull) chose yet another match each which will make this a run of seven out of nine Premier League matches shown live within 56 days
