Harry Redknapp leaves nation stunned in build-up to Newcastle v QPR
Our old friend Harry Redknapp says he is ‘quietly confident’ ahead of the match on Saturday.
This has left the nation stunned, not because QPR might get a result but due to Redknapp never having done anything quiet in his life.
Numerous times in the past he has stuck his head out the car window after training to talk about what is happening elsewhere, often Newcastle, with making the Demba Ba contract buyout clause a prime example.
I must admit that while I have always quite liked QPR, mainly because of their small atmospheric stadium and memories of their excellent team of the seventies, but whoever Redknapp manages I always look down the [intlink id=”191″ type=”page”]fixtures[/intlink] for that one as a game I especially look for Newcastle to win.
Speaking ahead of the match at St.James’ Park ‘Arry said;
“We go up to Newcastle in decent heart and we are quietly confident we can go there and play well.
“They are playing very well but we are also playing well at the moment.”
Pards has done fantastic;
“Alan (Pardew) was under a bit of pressure, like a lot of us come under when you lose a few games, but he has come through it fantastic and they are bang in form.”
Deserve more points;
“The last four games we have played well and we certainly should have a few more points on the board than we have had the last four weeks.
“Players are starting to find their feet at the club, we bought a few new players in who took time to settle.”
