Guess who’s top of Premier League recent form table…

While looking at the top division makes pleasant viewing anyway, the Premier League recent form table looks even better.

It wouldn’t take a genius to work out roughly where Newcastle would be, but great to see United right at the top.

Newcastle and Chelsea have the same record of five wins and a draw in their last half a dozen matches, whilst the impressive Southampton are just behind.

The current fallibility and weakness of Arsenal and especially Liverpool is summed up by their low placings over the last six games 0 a 3-1 reverse at Palace today making it further grim reading for the scousers.

Shame as well to see our old friends Aston Villa rock bottom, for anybody who was at Villa Park on that fateful relegation day, the lack of class shown by the home supporters will take a long time to fade from the memory – here’s hoping they can keep it up!
