Alan Pardew ‘Difficult to pick team at West Ham with all these players coming back’

Alan Pardew has intimated that he expects a number of his injured stars to be back for next Saturday’s trip to West Ham.

The Newcastle manager was talking about the strength of his squad and he feels sorry for Adam Armstrong, who can’t find a place in the team at the minute.

Speaking about the return to his old club next weekend, Pardew says that ‘with all these players coming back’ he is going to have a problem choosing who to leave out.

“We have got real depth in the squad, real potential.

“Armstrong, I had no hesitation (coming on as sub), he is only seventeen but he is a man and great ability.

“I can’t find a place in the team for him at the moment and with all these players coming back it’s going to be difficult to pick the team at West Ham.”

It is anybody’s guess who the manager is referring to but certainly I can’t see him starting both Perez and Cisse so he will have to decide between them.

As for players back from injury, many fans will be interested to see how the United boss handles both Cheick Tiote and Mehdi Abeid when they’re ready to return.

Maybe the mist difficult decision will be at centre-back with the possibility of both Steven Taylor and Fabricio Coloccini being back fro West Ham.

Would Alan Pardew be able to leave his Captain out?
