At his pre-West Ham press conference, Alan Pardew has revealed that he has four first team players back on the training pitch, namely Fabricio Coloccini, Steven Taylor, Emmanuel Riviere and Cheick Tiote.

The United boss also confirmed that he expected Rolando Aarons to be back training next week.

Whilst elsewhere on the good news list, Ryan Taylor should be back before the new year after the scare against QPR proved not to be what we all feared.

Alan Pardew;

“Coloccini, Tiote, Steven Taylor and Rivière are back on the training pitch. Rolando should be around for next week.

“We have had a terrible run of injuries but have kept the winning run going and that is testament to the squad.

Tough place to go;

“West Ham is a tough place to go. There will be a tremendous atmosphere. They’re on a great run and are in a tremendous position.”

Ryan Taylor;

“We expect Ryan Taylor to be back training in 3-4 weeks. It is not as bad as we first feared.”

After the win over QPR, Pardew said that he would be facing a number of selection dilemmas for West Ham and certainly if Cheick Tiote and the two centre-backs are fit enough for contention, we will all await with interest.
