Steve Stone and John Carver wary of Alan Pardew – Video special

An emotional night at the Etihad as Newcastle pulled off a superb win, in amongst all of the drama there was an amusing moment involving Alan Pardew and his coaching staff – including Steve Stone and John Carver.

With fifteen minutes left, Moussa Sissoko grabs a great individual goal, making the match all but safe and United through to the quarter-finals.

The camera pans to the touchline and the celebrating Newcastle United bench, where goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman and Stone and Carver are going a bit mad.

Alan Pardew strides towards them with his hand held out for a high five but the coaching staff keep their distance before eventually acknowledging their boss, but again without getting too close.

No doubt Steve Stone is remembering Alan Pardew’s release of frustration when Obertan scored the winner against Leicester, the manager grabbing the coach in a bear hug before forcibly throwing (watch it [intlink id=”49123″ type=”post”]HERE[/intlink]) him down the touchline.

Watch below, courtesy of ‘gibgod’ Alan Pardew celebrating Moussa Sissoko’s clincher…alone.
