Newcastle Linked With Move For Demarai Gray
Newcastle United are being linked with a move for Demarai Gray.
The winger made his debut at Birmingham under Lee Clark at the age of only seventeen and this season has been regularly involved, featuring in eight of their eleven Championship matches this time around, including three starts.
Turning eighteen over the summer, Gray has also featured for England’s Under 18s and Under 19s, while last season Four For Two magazine named him as one of the ‘Top 10 Football League Stars Of Tomorrow’.
Demarai Gray also has a couple of goals to his name already, including scoring against current Championship leader Norwich.
Over the summer Newcastle bought Jamaal Lascelles and Karl Darlow, then instantly loaned them back to Forest.
A similar arrangement could be in the offing with Gray if Newcastle pursue their interest, though a host of other clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal have also said to be watching the Birmingham player.
Last season, Birmingham’s young players traveled to Manchester United for a friendly and easily beat them 3-1, thanks in part to this class goal that you can watch below by Demarai Gray.
