Leicester Fans Prove Newcastle United Are Still In Demand…
Whatever else is going on at the times, Leicester fans have proved that nothing quite beats a day (night?) in Newcastle.
The Foxes have already sold out all 3,235 tickets for the trip to St.James’ Park some two weeks in advance of the game.
Leicester will also have a much smaller allocation for those two matches than they had for St.James’ Park.
Whilst in terms of travel, the 185 miles from Leicester to Tyneside is on a par with the 191 to Swansea and a decent distance further than the 147 miles to Southampton.
Newcastle’s nightlife speaks for itself and will no doubt be an extra draw, but Newcastle United and St.James’ Park with its unique location in the heart of the City, is something really special that we sometimes forget.
I’m guessing as well that the Leicester fans will also just maybe have noticed the league table and be travelling with more than a little hope.
I just hope that the players give the home crowd something to shout about or else it could be another miserable ninety minutes, with a packed away end already hyper at being back in the Premier League and giving Manchester United and the rest a run for their money.
