First Janmaat Now Another Newcastle Player Goes Down Injured

Yesterday it was [intlink id=”48494″ type=”post”]Daryl Janmaat [/intlink]who was forced to pull out of the Dutch squad with a hamstring injury, now it has been followed with Paul Dummett having to head hoem from the Welsh squad.

Chris Coleman has confirmed that as well as James Collins and Lee Evans, he has also lost the Newcastle left-back.

Dummett has a muscular injury and at this moment there has been no indication as to the seriousness of the injury.

Alan Pardew had stated last week that Paul Dummett had fought off Massadio Haidara to be number one, at least until Davide Santon is fit.

It is 11 days until Newcastle take on Leicester for yet another crucial match for Alan Pardew and potentially losing the two defenders who have done OK in recent weeks is not the news he wants to hear.
