Facundo Ferreyra Scores In Behind Closed Doors Match

A behind closed doors friendly saw goals from Adam Armstrong (2), Callum Roberts and the elusive Facundo Ferreyra beat a Burnley eleven by four goals to one.

The practice match also saw Ryan Taylor play his second comeback match, lasting seventy minutes.

The first goal saw Taylor instantly involved, putting in a cross after fifteen minutes for Ferryra to open the scoring.

The returning full-back almost then scored but saw his free-kick well saved, before Adam Armstrong took over as the dominant figure in the match and struck a post, before then making it 2-0 with an assist from Callum Roberts on 34 minutes.

It was then three around five minutes before half-time when this time Ferreyra laid the ball off to Armstrong who finished well.

Roberts made it four just after half-time before Burnley quickly scored a consolation.

The strong United line-up closed out the match but failed to add despite their dominance.
