Great Fightback – Ryan Taylor In Playing Comeback Today
A rare bit of good news today as Ryan Taylor played his first game since his original freak injury over two years ago in a Europa League match.
Taylor was involved as Newcastle played a behind closed doors friendly against Carlisle United.
However, massive credit to him for getting this far and it would be great just to see him back playing competitive football.
As for today’s kick about, it was Ayoze Perez who was the centre of attention as he scored four goals in an eight goal win without reply, plus they were all in the first half as he was taken off at half-time.
Nothing was mentioned in any interviews that I saw as to why, but a bit of a puzzle why Perez wasn’t on the bench against Stoke considering he has played a part in all six of Newcastle’s previous six matches this season.
Also amongst the goals were Abeid who scored two and Haris Vuckic, while mystery man Facundo Ferreyra also got one.
NUFC 11: Elliot (Woolston), Ryan Taylor (Sterry), Satka, Streete, Ferguson, Bigirimana (Kemen), Aneid (Barlaser), Vuckic, Gilliead, Perez (Armstrong), Ferreyra (Roberts)
If you are a season ticket holder who uses public transport for home matches then it is a no-brainer to get a Magpie Mover.
If you don’t use public transport for home matches then why not consider making the change? Cut pollution, traffic congestion and stress, whilst at the same time saving money!
Even season ticket holders who live outside the area and drive to home matches, would save a fortune on parking and stress by parking outside the city centre and using the metro or bus via a Magpie Mover ticket.
