Rolando Aarons Out Of Southampton Match With Hamstring Injury
Alan Pardew has revealed at his pre-Southampton press conference that Rolando Aarons will miss the match due to a hamstring injury.
Never mind, at least we have Gabriel Obertan to fall back on…
Pardew also confirmed that Cheick Tiote will be in the squad that travels IF he comes back fit from international duty with Ivory Coast, the midfielder having played two full matches in four days despite the Newcastle manager claiming he wasn’t fit enough to play.
Alan Pardew also said;
“We are committed to get the best performances out of the squad.
“We have mainly looked strong this season and need to take that on.
“Southampton away is a fixture that has been hard on us the last couple of years and we need to improve on that.”
