Pardew Selects Paul Dummett In Hull Starting Eleven To Cure Goal Drought
Alan Pardew has turned to Paul Dummett to solve his problems in front of goal.
While options are obviously limited, it seems amazing that Pardew’s only change is to bring in the much more defensive Dummett and Tiote to replace Haidara and Anita.
While bringing back Tiote is an absolute no-brainer for the ineffective Anita, surely the much more mobile and attack-minded Haidara should have kept his place ahead of Dummett?
The Geordie/Welsh full-back tries his best but going for a more doughty defence will surely be seen by most fans as trying desperately not to get beat, rather than dreaming of three points.
The formation according to the club’s official twitter account is 4-2-3-1, though we can all make our mind up on that when it all kicks off…quite literally.
Team: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Dummett, Colback, Tiote, Sissoko, Gouffran, Cabella, Riviere
The big news on the bench is Cisse back but surely that is desperation if he is thrown into the fray with so little training behind him.
Bench: Elliot, Steven Taylor, Anita, Haidara, Perez, Sammy Ameobi, Cisse
