Pardew Goes One Better Than Ashley And Refuses To Speak To All Newspapers

Heaping further embarrassment on his day, Alan Pardew refused to speak to any newspaper after he and his players put on a pitiful show at St.Mary’s.

Almost conceding in the first thirty seconds through lazy defending by Captain Coloccini, it was downhill from there.

The four goals (could have been a lot more) were a massive black mark against the Newcastle manager but he trumped all that by bottling it when it came to facing the written media.

Pardew did a runner and left all the newspaper journalists bemused, wondering if they have already enjoyed the delights of an Alan Pardew Newcastle United press conference for the last time.

During the match he had faced chants of ‘We want Pardew out’ and ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’.

For many fans this cowardice in refusing to face the press will just be one more reason why Alan Pardew is not of the calibre that should be representing our football club.

Happy to go along with Mike Ashley calling certain journalists a disgrace and banning them, both Pardew and his boss should have  a good look at themselves first.
