Another Newcastle Live TV Match Added

7 years ago

Another Newcastle live TV match has been added to the [intlink id=”191″ type=”page”]fixtures schedule[/intlink].

United’s visit to Manchester City has been confirmed as a 7.45pm kick-off on Wednesday 29th October.

Sky TV are broadcasting the game live to armchair fans.

The fact the draw was made and announced during extra time last night didn’t go down too well with anybody associated with Crystal Palace or Newcastle United.

Alan Pardew commented after  the match;

“It is a tough draw, it come up on the screen here and I think everybody took a little smirk, because it doesn’t get much tougher than that.

“But that is us in the Cups, we never get anything easy, so we’ll give it a good old go when it comes around.”

The fact the draw went ahead during play was a bit unnecessary but Alan Pardew’s claims that Newcastle never get anything easy in the Cups will have made more than a few United fans choke on their tea.

During Alan Pardew’s reign we have been knocked out of the Cups by lower league opposition such as Stevenage and Brighton (twice), as well as by far the worst team in the Premier League last year, Cardiff – at home.
