West Ham Fans and Newcastle Fans Fighting In Germany – Reports
Trouble broke out last night in Dusseldorf, with claims of West Ham and Newcastle fans fighting.
The reports claim that supporters of both clubs had been drinking together with no problems until scuffles started breaking out late afternoon.

Fans of both clubs took to social media to give their version of events but many Newcastle supporters are adamant that it was Hammers’ fans who were the ones to blame.
Riot police were called in to break up the trouble but it spoilt what had been a great day for most, with an uneasy atmosphere left hanging over the city centre – Dusseldorf is only around forty minutes away from Gelsenkirchen where the Schalke tournament is taking place this weekend.
Hopefully things will have calmed down this morning as both sets of fans will come together once again in the build up to this afternoon’s matches, Newcastle kicking off against Malaga at 2.30pm UK time (though broadcaster Quest are claiming it to be a 2.15pm kick-off), with the Schalke v West Ham encounter to follow.
