Newcastle United v Malaga – Remy Cabella Named In Starting 11

Alan Pardew named a twenty six man squad to travel to Germany for Newcastle United v Malaga and Newcastle United v Schalke.

The 26 named were;

Aarons, Abeid, Alnwick, Anita, Armstrong, Cabella, Campbell, Colback, Coloccini, Dummett, Elliot, Gouffran, Haidara, Janmaat, Krul, Obertan, Perez, Riviere, Satka, Sissoko, Streete, Steven Taylor, Tiote, Vuckic, Williamson, Mapou

Conspicuous by his absence is new signing Siem De Jong who was forced off in his last appearance through injury against Wellington Phoenix.

The eleven players who will kick-off against Malaga at 2.30pm this afternoon are;

Elliot, Mapou, Steven Taylor, Coloccini, Haidara, Abeid, Colback, Sissoko, Armstrong, Cabella, Perez

While on the subs bench United have;

Krul, Alnwick, Janmaat, Dummett, Streete, Satka, Williamson, Anita, Tiote, Aarons, Obertan, Goufran, Campbell, Riviere, Vuckic

If the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes then there will be a penalty shootout.

UK viewers can watch for free on the Quest channel, which is Sky 167, Virgin 172 and Freeview 37.

On Sunday, Newcastle face hosts Schalke with a 4.45pm start – all times are for UK viewers.
