Newcastle Interested In Signing Lass Bangoura – Spanish Reports
The Spanish media are claiming Newcastle United are interested in signing winger Lass Bangoura.
The 22 year old Guinea international plays for Spanish minnows Rayo Vallecano.
The Spanish sports paper AS report that the player is desperate to leave and the club have now accepted that they will have to let him go.
Transfer figures of up to £8m had been speculated but now AS claim that the Spanish club could accept as little as £1m to be rid of an unhappy player.
Bangoura has made 88 league appearances over the last three seasons but would be unlikely to help much in terms of scoring goals himself. The winger has scored only 6 goals in those 88 appearances and didn’t score a single goal in La Liga last season.
On the other hand, 18 yellows and 1 red card in those 88 appearances suggest he has a competitive nature.
More of a creator of goals, winger who uses both feet is also said to be interesting Spanish clubs Malaga and Levante, as well as Serie A’s Fiorentina.
