Alan Pardew ‘We’ll Win More Than We Lose’

As well as believing Newcastle United ‘…was much better second half’ against Manchester City, Alan Pardew thinks that if United show the same togetherness and form they displayed on Sunday, they will win more than they lose.

The manager picked out Cabella and Colback as the best of the new players, while he rated Sissoko and his centre-backs’ performances as well.

Pardew though said that he was glad that he didn’t have to face City’s quality every week.

Alan Pardew;

“I thought we was much better second half.

“They are a great team, strong individuals, but as a team we looked really fit and strong today.

“We have players who have seen the Premiership for the first time, I liked their reaction.

“I thought Cabella was great, as Jack (Colback) was, probably our pick of the new players. We looked strong in many areas; Moussa was terrific, I thought the two centre-backs were great, up against real quality. So a lot of positives.

“When you are playing against the Champions, the sort of quality they have even on the bench as well, you need a break.

“You can see there was a togetherness there and we won’t come up against that kind of quality every week, we’ll win more than we lose.”
