Alan Pardew Gives Hatem Ben Arfa Update

Alan Pardew has claimed that there is a simple solution to the problems between himself, the football club and Hatem Ben Arfa.

The Newcastle United manager claims that Ben Arfa has to step up to the general ‘professionalism and level of commitment at Newcastle United’ and everything will be fine.

This is in [intlink id=”45550″ type=”post”]marked contrast to the dirty tricks claims[/intlink] that both Hatem Ben Arfa’s adviser and lawyer made on the player’s behalf yesterday.

Speaking to BBC Newcastle, Alan Pardew had this to say about Hatem;

“It is a simple situation – we have a professionalism and level of commitment to our work at Newcastle United that he needs to fall into, until he falls into that he will not be part of the first team.

“He is not at the moment, and he’s injured today – ironically, though he is still part of the club.”

The majority of fans are probably stuck in the middle, thinking both player and the club could and should have done more to sort this situation out.

Where the ‘blame’ lies could well depend on how the team start the season in Ben Arfa’s absence.
