Vurnon Anita Reveals Plan – ‘Drink A Lot Of Water, Sleep and Train Hard’
Vurnon Anita has revealed his own personal favoured route to dealing with the rigours of pre-season, especially when you are travelling to the other side of the World.
Coping with the dual challenges of jet lag and getting fitness levels back to Premier League standard, Anita believes he and the rest of the players need to concentrate on drinking lots of water, sleeping and training hard.
The Dutch midfielder commenting after arriving in Welling;
“It was a long trip from England but we are feeling good – drink a lot of water, sleep and sleep, train hard.
“It is a new experience for me and I have never been down here, so it’s nice.
“We played very well against Sydney and we won, so that is the most important and that we get our fitness.
“Of course there are always things to improve, little things, but I think we did well. We won four nil so I hope we can bring that to the next game and hope we score a lot more goals.”
