Ross McCormack Opts Out Of Leeds 2 Week Italian Training Camp To Sort Transfer
Leeds striker Ross McCormack has opted out of Leed pre season two week Italian training camp in order to sort out his future.
While twenty of his current teammates arrived at the Santa Cristina training complex on Monday, last season’s Championship top scorer and Leeds Captain stayed behind to decide which club should be his next destination.
Both Newcastle and West Ham have been credited with interest and indeed Leeds’ new owner Massimo Cellino claimed last month that he’d turned down an offer from NUFC, something which was denied by United.
Ross McCormack turns 28 on the Monday after the Premier League season begins but with 28 goals last season and proven available strikers in such short supply, it appears certain it will be a Premier League club who pays the £10m or more that lands the Leeds forward.
Whether Mike Ashley will stretch to that remains to be seen…
