Emmanuel Riviere ‘I Slept Yesterday In Newcastle – A Good Sleep’
Emmanuel Riviere has revealed that he feels very relaxed since arriving in Newcastle, summing up his mood by saying, “I slept yesterday in Newcastle – a good sleep.”
Giving his first interview to the club’s official TV channel, it was impressive to hear the striker speaks very good English, one less barrier than most of his fellow countrymen have when they transfer into the Premier League.
“I’m very happy.
“I slept yesterday in Newcastle, a good sleep. I feel very relaxed and happy to come here.
“When Newcastle phoned me, I said yes immediately, because it is a big club with many fans. An easy decision.
“I asked friends about Newcastle and they said it is a big club in the Premier League with many fans, a good City and a big manager.
“My dream is to play in the Premier League and when Newcastle call me I say yes.”
(Asked what kind of player he is)
“I am a striker who is fast & strong and I work for the team.
“It is very important that I integrate with my new teammates, so I am pleased that I am going to New Zealand with them.”
