Tim Krul To Spurs In Keeper Switch Around – Reports

Various media are reporting that a domino effect will see Tim Krul to Spurs, with Newcastle the big losers in the goalkeeper chain.

PSG are reported to have targeted Hugo Lloris to be their number one keeper next season.

The Parisian club are actively looking to recruit more home players and the talented keeper, who also captains the national team, certainly fits the bill.

With PSG prepared to spend whatever it takes and able to offer silverware and Champions League football, Lloris is very likely to make the switch back over the Channel.

As a consequence, Spurs are believed to have identified Tim Krul as their first choice replacement and believe they can pick him up for no more than £10m.

Tottenham’s Director of football, Franco Baldini, is in Brazil looking to sort out potential transfers while the tournament continues.

As part of the possible ‘Krul out’ coverage, it is also suggested that United’s number two, Rob Elliot, could be offer a new contract with his current one having two seasons left to run.

No disrespect but if Rob Elliot ended up as Newcastle United’s number one next season then my alarm bells would really start ringing.
