Newcastle tickets are now on sale for four of the pre season friendlies, both at home and over in Germany.

With the first pre season friendly only two weeks ago, fans can now purchase tickets for matches against Oldham, Sheffield Wednesday, Malaga and Schalke.

Oldham (A) Tuesday 15 July 7.30pm kick-off – tickets priced at £15 and £5 for over 65s and under 16s.

Sheffield Wednesday (A) Wednesday 30 July 7.45 kick-off – tickets £15 and £5 for over 65s and under 18s.

Malaga  (A – Schalke’s Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen) Saturday 2 August 3.30pm kick-off

Schalke (A – as above) Sunday 3 August 5.30 kick-off

Ticket prices for the matches in Germany are day tickets and also include the other match each day in the four team tournament which also features West Ham.

It is £11 per day for a standing ticket (£8 for under 21s) and if you want a seat it is £31 per day (£8 for under 21s).

Sadly Mike Ashley is continuing his policy of trying to force fans to pay a £30 surcharge even if they are just attending a single friendly all year. Tickets can only be bought for the Newcastle sections at these away matches if you have a club membership which costs £30, though if you are a season ticket holder you are automatically charged the extra £30 to be a member anyway. Needless to say many Newcastle fans will choose to buy direct from the host clubs if they aren’t a member.

Presumably you will also have to pay the other surcharge of £1 per ticket that Newcastle also charge any of their fans for buying an away ticket.

Tickets can be bought via tickets.nufc.co.uk or by calling 0844 372 1892 (though be warned, calls can cost over 40p per minute from a mobile)
