West Ham Fans Realise Newcastle Supporters Were Right All Along

8 years ago

An amusing aside to our own misery, sees West Ham Fans now realising that Newcastle supporters were right all along.

Like other clubs he has been at, fans have given Sam Allardyce their begrudging support, until it quickly sinks in that underneath all the bluster and spin, Fat Sam simply drags your team and club down and the football itself is abysmal.

Allardyce was recently booed despite beating Hull, the West Ham manager employing negative tactics to try and see out the game despite playing against ten men.

Both he and his mates in the press have called Hammers’ fans ‘deluded’ (ring any bells?) but just like Newcastle supporters before them, they know what the see with their own eyes and Fat Sam can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

Now over 12,000 Hammers’ Fans have taken part in a poll and four in five supporters want Allardyce to go.

The organiser of the poll have sent the results to West Ham’s owners who are reportedly already concerned that if the fat oaf stays then they will have a huge drop off in demand for season tickets.

In an attempt to divert the flak Alan Pardew is getting, Fat Sam has now registered four defeats in a row and with matches against Spurs and Manchester City to come, Allardyce has every chance of matching Pardew’s six off the belt.

However, the Newcastle manager is said to have privately revealed that he has every confidence that he will make it the full eight once Cardiff and Liverpool are out of the way.

A dismal performance and defeat at West Brom at the weekend was played out to a backdrop of a fans calling for his head and a ‘Fat Sam Out’ banner.

His response was typical;

“I understand their frustration as they want to see their team win.

“They won’t want to see them play well and lose, they want to see them play well and win.”

As ever, empty words from this blight on football.
