Tickets Now On Sale For Newcastle Pre-Season Friendly

As part of their [intlink id=”42733″ type=”post”]pre-season programme of matches[/intlink], Newcastle travel to Sheffield Wednesday for a pre-season friendly and tickets have now been put on sale by the host club.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for under 18s and over 65s.

Newcastle fans will be housed in the West Stand at Hillsborough for the match which has a 7.45pm kick-off on Wednesday 30 July.

A quick look at the Sheffield Wednesday website showed that tickets can only be bought for the home areas.

However, with Mike Ashley’s cynical strategy of forcing Newcastle fans to buy a £30 yearly club membership before being able to buy any away ticket, competitive or friendly, sadly many United fans, especially those Geordie exiles in the area who don’t get the chance to see the team often, will be forced to buy tickets amongst the opposition fans.

If it is the only Newcastle match you are going to see, paying £45 to sit with your fellow fans, or £15 to sit with Wednesday supporters – it isn’t a hard choice.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Sheffield Wednesday ticket office, by phone on 0871 900 1867 (£2 booking fee per person) or you can buy online HERE.

For the record, the only tickets currently on sale via the official NUFC website are those for Kings Of Leon…
