Mike Ashley Sends Stewards In To Force Fans Away From Ben Arfa At Match Today

Early on in today’s match, fans turned their backs on the game to look towards where the Milburn Stand meets the Leazes.

This kept happening and the message went round that it was Hatem Ben Arfa.

The players who aren’t involved in matches use this club box and Hatem was sitting in the front row with his baseball cap on.

Very quickly word had got around that area and beyond, leading to a queue forming on the steps leading up to Ben Arfa, as Kids wanted to get his autograph.

The fans in the immediate area were singing his name, Hatem was signing autograph after autograph, what could possibly go wrong?

Well after a few minutes of this good natured departure from yet another rubbish match, Ashley (or one of his muppets) sent in the stewards in a totally over the top reaction.

This led to friction from the crowd and the poor stewards stuck in the middle.

There then followed a game of cat and mouse as kids rushed up and Hatem happily signed as many as he could before Ashley’s employees were forced to chase them away on orders from those above.

Only at Newcastle.
