Latest Alan Pardew Spin ‘We’ve Been Uncomfortable For The Last 3 Or 4 Games’
Alan Pardew has yet again tried to massively dilute just how bad this second half of the season has been.
He has attempted to spin the situation every week, trying to change the ongoing debate – this time bizarrely claiming that the unhappiness/depression of fans is based on the ‘last 3 or 4 games’.
“We need to make sure we put in a performance in that first twenty to twenty five minutes that gets the stadium on our side, that gives us a platform to try and win the game.
“Everybody at Newcastle, from within and without, who supports us, want us to win. We want to get that win for them.
“We have lost too many games, and some of the games there have been some injuries that have weakened us, but the last two or 3 games we’ve done better but we still need to improve.
“As much as we have been comfortable for a long time now in the division, we have been uncomfortable for the last 3 or 4 games, because we have not won and that pressure builds.
“Then of course that pressure is built to where we are at the moment and a very important game for us as a team and as a club.”
The true situation is that in the last 19 (all competitions) games Newcastle United have done the following;
Won 4 Drawn 1 Lost 14
Goals For 11 Goals Against 36
Failed to score in 13 of those last 19 matches.
