One of our regular (and reliable) contributors to the website, has a very good source who reckons that one of the clubs in the Championship play-offs has a move for James Tavernier lined up.

The move is said to be scheduled to happen once the play-off issues are sorted, with Tavernier’s on loan club Rotherham starting their play-off adventure against Preston on Saturday.

As for the Championship ones; QPR, Wigan, Derby and Brighton are the four clubs challenging, with one of those being Tavernier’s next stop if our information is correct.

At all his on loan clubs, Tavernier has made his name as an attacking full-back and has scored an impressive five goals, including some real quality strikers, including a recent brilliant free-kick which put the efforts of Newcastle’s current efforts to shame.

In recent days the Journal has reported that Tavernier and Vuckic are amongst players that Newcastle are happy to let go this summer, will Tavernier be one that comes back to bite us?
