Extra Flights Added To Accommodate Fans On Newcastle’s New Zealand Trip
With tickets selling well for Newcastle’s New Zealand trip matches, extra flights have been added to accommodate travelling fans.
Newcastle play Sydney first at the Forsyth Barr stadium in Dunedin, with Air New Zealand adding extra flights from Wellington and Christchurch onto Dunedin on match day, while extra capacity has also been added from Auckland as well.
With no English Premier League team visiting for twenty years, it is a big event for football lovers in the region. While also there is still optimistic talk of [intlink id=”42973″ type=”post”]thousands of Australian based Newcastle and West Ham fans[/intlink] also swelling crowd numbers for the matches.
Newcastle United have also sent head of security Steve Storey to check out facilities and plans ahead of the tour and the local press in New Zealand report that he has been impressed by what he has seen.
United play their second match of the mini four team tournament on July 26 in Wellington.
