Deschamps Names France World Cup Squad
Didier Deschamps has tonight named his 23 man France World Cup squad.
Speculation in the French press today, had named Mathieu Debuchy as a certainty, but Loic Remy and Moussa Sissoko as ‘possibles’.
However, when the French coach named his squad, all three of Debuchy, Sissoko and Remy were named alongside Yohan Cabaye in the 23 who will travel to Brazil, barring mishaps.
The French media had also named alleged Newcastle United transfer target Remy Cabella as a slight possibility to make the reserve list. In the event the Montpellier playmaker has made that list of seven reserves who are on standby in case anybody has to drop out.
Good luck to all four who have been named in the full squad (see below) and best of luck this summer.
