Does Alan Pardew Get It? (And We’re Not Talking About His P45)
If you were generous you might say that Alan Pardew is mistaken as to why fans are so upset, disillusioned, pi….
Most of us though I think, believe that Alan Pardew knows exactly how deep rooted the anger is and that it goes way beyond ‘losing our last few matches’ or whatever other nonsense the Newcastle manager comes out with.

A whole half season of terrible form and shocking results (not just the recent six goal losing streak) and terrible tactics, team selection and numerous players visibly getting worse week by week under his management/coaching.
While on top of that, supporters see Pardew fail to stand up to Mike Ashley and the end result is a criminally weak squad that has wasted any momentum the team/squad/club ever had.
However, this hasn’t stopped Alan Pardew going down the same route and talking about keeping ‘perspective’ and ‘we go up and down’, as though supporters are simply reacting to the last few results, as opposed to the general malaise and total lack of ambition shown by the club.
“I know that our fans are very, very upset at the moment.
“We go up and down.
“We need to make sure that from the start of next year we kick off, hitting the ground running fast.
“Hopefully we can.”
