Premier League Recent Form Table Is Shocker For Newcastle United

This Premier League recent form table makes grim reading for Newcastle United.

Though there still appears to be a minority who are saying ‘what are you worrying about, yes recent results have been rubbish but we’ll easy bounce back next season’, the rest of us are looking at miserable match after miserable match and at tables such as this one…and thinking this could well be what we can look forward to next season.

With no flair in the squad apart from the ignored Ben Arfa and the only goalscorer we have is a borrowed one, little wonder Newcastle fans are not only worrying about next season but also where our next win is coming from.

In this recent form table (spotted @MikeAshleyLies Twitter account) it takes in all matches from March 15th onwards so Newcastle have actually played at least one game more than most of the teams and yet are still bottom!

Little consolation that Sunderland are almost as bad.

History also tells us that clubs who stay up but struggle badly in the second half of the season, more often than not carry that form into the next season.

No room for complacency and talk of ‘one or two new players’ can put us right this summer.
