Pardew ‘We’ve Changed From Our Power Work To More Technical In Training’
Alan Pardew is looking forward to welcoming back Loic Remy, Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko all as potential starters tonight, but the Newcastle manager has also revealed that he has changed the basis of his training sessions in the past week.
The United boss has stated that rather than ‘power work’ he has concentrated on a ‘more technical week’ so we could be in for a treat against Arsenal.
Most fans will hope for the best but fear the worst against the Champions League qualification challengers, while we’ll all be looking to see if we can spot the more technical Newcastle United;
“We have the return this week of our three French internationals.
“We have changed training a little bit this week, we’ve come away from some of the power work that we do, to a more technical week, and certainly a lot more running this week for those guys. So I think they will be up to speed and I think they are very important in this (Arsenal) game.
“I think we need to show people what we did against Swansea, that we are a good team, we are together and this recent run – we need to put it right.
“We can’t determine the result at Arsenal but we can determine the performance.”
As for showing against Swansea that Newcastle are a good team – hmmm, I must have popped to the toilet when that bit happened.
