Pardew and Players Claim Black Is White, Or Is It Grey?

In a rearguard action, the club has lined up both Alan Pardew and his players in advance of Swansea, to try and put a positive spin on the latest shamble at Stoke last weekend.

The Newcastle manager surprisingly confirming all the claims in the media of another major dressing room bust up after the final whistle at the Britannia Stadium, Pardew saying ‘There is enough come out to show we passionately care‘.

Newcastle floored/flawed?

Alan Pardew;

“You would be disappointed if you did not have some noises coming out of the dressing room.

“There is enough come out this week to show that we passionately care.

“if we all sat round saying ‘We’ve lost again – it doesn’t matter, we are 9th’, there would be something wrong.”

Next up we had Captain Fabricio Coloccini put forward by NUFC to state how committed he and the rest of the players were, stating this in a response as to whether the players were committed to the club and the fans;

“Of course I am – we are professional.

“When we are out on the pitch we try, always, to win the game.

“This is a bad period and sometimes it is difficult.

“The thing is to be together and all push the same way to come out of this period.”

Comments from other players in recent days have been part of the same ‘charm’ offensive attempting to show how everybody cares, pulling together, harmony in the club despite all the evidence to the contrary, moving forward together blah blah blah.

This is as well as the constant underplaying of just how bad things have been in recent months, Pardew especially, constantly referring to our recent ‘small’ bad run of ‘3 or 4 matches’, whereas in reality the last 16 matches have seen a dismal return of only 13 points – relegation form.

Plus of course this has all followed everybody falling into line with Mike Ashley’s directive that everybody has to repeat the club mantra that only one or two signings are needed in the summer to make everything ok on the pitch – with Managing Director Lee Charnley and Alan Pardew leading the singing from the same song sheet.
