Newcastle United v Manchester United Player Ratings – Independently Sourced

What were your Newcastle United v Manchester United player ratings?

Interesting to get an outside perspective and the industry leader for an independent viewpoint is the whoscored rating system (used by numerous sections of the football industry; including media, bookmakers and clubs themselves).

Coloccini all over the place again.

Over 200 raw statistics are used to calculate the player ratings and are weighted according to influence in the game – taking into account the area of the pitch and its outcome for each important event.

The independent ratings for our [intlink id=”41116″ type=”post”]midweek shambles against Everton [/intlink]showed that of the 22 players who took the pitch, Everton had 11 of the best 12 players on the field, with only Tiote coming out of it with any kind of respect, then against Southampton it was a similar story with only [intlink id=”41271″ type=”post”]Rob Elliot being in the top 12 rated players against Southampton.[/intlink]

Sadly this time it was Elliot’s turn to be totally bottom of the pile with a shocking display, though Fabricio Coloccini wasn’t far ahead with him continuing his recent poor form.

Instead, Papiss Cisse was the only Newcastle player to feature in the top twelve rated players against Manchester United.

Not only are Newcastle getting hammered in matches but we aren’t even have a small group of individuals emerging with credit.
