Loic Remy ‘End Of The Season Will Be Exciting’
Loic Remy has claimed that the ‘end of the season will be exciting’, which would be a welcome change for all of the Newcastle fans who have watched this desperate second half of the season.
With only three matches left, including away matches against Arsenal and Liverpool, it will be interesting to see where Remy and his teammates can find that excitement.
“We can cause difficulties for the big clubs and possibly make things tougher for those teams who are fighting as well. For me that means the end of the season will be exciting.
“People have said that we are finished for this season but I do not see that.
“The players are training well and working well.
“Maybe it hasn’t been as good a season we wanted it to be but we’ll keep giving everything until the final whistle of the last game.”
As for giving it everything until the final whistle, many supporters will be looking at Remy in particular with interest in these last three games.
With Remy and Debuchy taking a lot longer to return from injury than was expected, it led to many fans questioning how desperate they were to get back for Newcastle with the World Cup just around the corner.
When they came on as subs against Swansea, Debuchy looked his usual wholehearted self, but Remy was most definitely not up to his usual standard.
Whether that was simply being careful due to just back from injury, or something more damning, we are about to find out – in these final three…exciting games.
