I’m Sorry Son
Newcastle United, yes Pardew, UNITED – only one UNITED for us Mags.
Well I’m not sure what the answer is, or how this will end up.
I’ve followed this great club for far too long and I’ve seen Lord Westwood as Chairman, Gordon McKeag, John Hall & son, and Fat Fred. All made a fortune out of our Club and never paid to watch a match the way we all do
We want Pardew out but who will The FCB appoint in his place if/when Pardew is Sacked/leaves? Not one of us saw Pardew coming after Ashley sacked Hughton, so the world is your oyster with a choice of God Knows who?
Though bet your bottom dollar he will be cheap and toe the party line, with only one objective to keep UNITED in the Premier league to maintain our coverage on TV to maximise Sports Directs (and his other brands/businesses) profile.
I’ve watched us fight for survival and just miss falling into the 3rd tier of the game. I was at most of Gordon Lee’s, Richard Dinnis’ & Bill McGarry’s home games – real bad managers to compare with the worst.
I have watched Graham Oates, Billy Whitehurst, Billy Askew, Gary Megson, Marcelino, Albert Luque and Shola Ameobi. Real poor players one and all, but today it was as bad as it ever was
I’m guilty as I’ve renewed my Season ticket, and yes I feel like I’ve been taken for a Mug, because I will be one of the faces that show a full St James’ Park every time we are on TV with all the free exposure for the FCB.
However, after leaving the Swansea game I felt something I had never felt before at this fantastic club of ours, I felt like a beaten man as it’s too late and got my money for next season in March.
I took my son to his first game aged 8 and bought his first season ticket aged 14, he is now 28.
Sorry son, yer old fella took a hell of a beating today.
Answers on a postcard because I simply don’t know, I’m certain our Manager doesn’t, and our owner couldn’t care less.
