Alan Pardew ‘Three Or Four Back In Training’

Following his pre-Swansea press conference, Newcastle United have published the following quotes /’highlights’ from Alan Pardew.

The Newcastle manager stating that ‘three or four back in the training ground’ including Remy and Debuchy.

“We have got three or four back in the training ground, Remy and Debuchy are back training, Sissoko is running.

“I hope that the fans give the team great backing. I hope that we can put in a performance that helps because it goes hand in hand.

“Swansea are a great footballing side, they keep the ball and frustrate you – we have to be patient and take our chances.”

Pardew is said to be ‘hopeful’ that Remy and Debuchy make it, which kind of takes us back to what was being aid last week before the Stoke match.

Hatem Ben Arfa has picked up a dead leg at that match at the Britannia Stadium, so is doubtful for the weekend.

As always Pardew got in a mention of how brilliant the opposition is, despite them being only three points above relegation – softening us all up (or so he hopes) just in case we lose yet again and the excuses come out…again.

Calling for the support of the fans is a bit late, the supporters crushed to apathy by the attitude of the club towards ambition and the standard/style of football we have all been subjected to in this desperate run.

So not much the wiser and we’ll have to wait again to see out fate again, both in terms of the team selection pre-match and once the game actually kicks off.
